Android Devices
Depending on your Android device model and which browser you use, the process for clearing cache, cookies, and browsing history may vary. However, you can typically clear this data through your device’s application management settings:
- Navigate to Settings and select Apps or Application Manager.
- Swipe over to the All tab.
- Locate and tap on your web browser from the list of installed applications. Tap Clear Data, followed by Clear Cache.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Chrome on Android
- Tap the Chrome menu, then navigate to Settings, and select (Advanced) Privacy.
- In the “Time Range” dropdown menu, select All Time.
- Enable Cookies and Site data and Cached Images and Files. Tap Clear data.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Safari on iOS
- Launch your Settings app.
- Tap Safari.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data and verify your choice.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Chrome on iOS
- Tap the Chrome menu, then navigate to Settings, and select Privacy.
- Tap Clear Browsing Data.
- Select which data types you wish to remove, then tap Clear Browsing Data.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Desktop Computers
Chrome 122 and newer versions
- In Chrome, open a fresh tab and close any other Chrome tabs and windows you have open.
- Click the Options menu (⋮) near the top right corner and choose Clear browsing data.
- In the Time range dropdown menu, select your preferred timeframe; to remove all cached data, choose All time.
- Check the following options:
- Browsing history (Optional)
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Click Clear Data.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Firefox 123 and newer versions
- In Firefox, open a fresh tab and close any other Firefox tabs and windows you have open.
- Click the Options menu in the top right corner and choose History, then Clear Recent History....
- In the Time range to clear: dropdown, select your preferred timeframe; to remove all cached data, choose Everything.
- Check the following options:
- Browsing & download history (Optional)
- Form & search history (Optional)
- Cookies
- Cache
- Active logins
- Site settings
- Offline web site data
- Click Clear Now.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Edge 122 and newer versions
- In Edge, open a fresh tab and close any other Edge tabs and windows you have open.
- Click the Options menu (⋮) near the top right corner and choose Settings.
- From the left sidebar, click Privacy, search, and services.
- In the Time range dropdown, select your preferred timeframe; to remove all cached data, choose All time.
- Check the following options:
- Browsing history (Optional)
- Download history (Optional)
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Click Clear Now.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Opera 108 and newer versions
- In Opera, open a fresh tab and close any other Opera tabs and windows you have open.
- Click the Opera logo in the top left corner to access the menu.
- Choose History from the menu, then Clear recent history....
- In the Time range dropdown, select your preferred timeframe; to remove all cached data, choose All time.
- Check the following options:
- Browsing history (Optional)
- Cookies and other site data
- Cached images and files
- Click Clear data.
- Close all browser windows completely and relaunch the browser.
Safari 16 and newer versions (macOS)
- In the Safari menu at the top of your screen, choose Preferences, then navigate to the Advanced tab.
- Enable Show Develop menu in menu bar and close the Preferences window.
- In the Develop menu at the top of your screen, choose Empty Cache.
- In the Safari menu at the top of your screen, choose Quit Safari, then relaunch the browser.
